Common Questions
How many lessons will I need?
There is no fixed number. Progress depends on your confidence, practice, and previous experience.
Do I need to pass theory before lessons?
No. You can start practical lessons first, but preparing for theory early is recommended.
How old do I need to be?
You can apply at 15 years and 9 months. You can usually start car lessons at 17.
Do you teach in a manual or automatic car?
All RightMark lessons are in a manual car. Passing in a manual lets you drive both manual and automatic cars, while an automatic pass only covers automatics.
Can non-UK residents learn in the UK?
In many cases, yes. Rules depend on your current licence and how long you have lived in the UK.
Once your provisional is sorted, you are ready to book your first lesson.
